Eerie

Eerie is a word that pretty sums up this whole piece of Ambient music. It has dissonance, but you still put a melodic chord progression: two conflicting sides that perfectly mix together to form a dark, almost Chill-out atmosphere.
Great job, mate ^^

Mixed sounds

Very experimental music there.
I think it's also a mix between Industrial and even 8-bit music, which I found to be fairly interesting. This song has its own style, and it's perfect the way it is.
KKS

Hmm

It has a weird but interesting melody pattern, mixing both dissonance and sad soundscapes. It also has a very SNES-like sample-driven sound, which could be used in a retro-styled videogame.
Good job, anyway :)

Good

Seems like a fine piece, with a bossa nova accent that doesn't hurt anyone. I suggest to add some reverb to both the strings and piano, giving them a more realistic impact. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it. ^^
Keep up,
KKS

Cuzone responds:

I tried reverbing it but no matter what I tried, it sounded too bright for my taste. The song sounds much better to me in this quiet, gloomy version.

Thanks for the review anyway!

Very promising

It's so rich of sound deepness. I'm not an estimator such beats, but this may be one of those rare exceptions. The heavy reverberated piano is a classic on pseudo-Chill atmospheric pieces, evoking watery/icy scenarios or maybe just a sense of lightness.
Still, good job mate, I liked it. ;D

I'm pretty excited to put on NG the full version of this song OH NO I CAN'T. yes please NO STOP IT!!;.; omfg

Thanks for the review my friend! glad you like it even if thats pretty short :)

Nice

I can feel every moment of this beautiful creature that is the butterfly.
Delicate, yet fragile. I have a second mental image though, like I'm traveling through some enchanted woods and I encounter a fairy entity (no I'm not a Zelda freak xD).
I wonder what program did you use though, as I'm pretty interested with the vocal samples you used ('cos you used samples... right?)

Anyway, good job and keep up ^^

Jessismith responds:

Thank you! Nah, that's alright. It was meant to have enchanting undertones. Also, it would properly suit fairies. I used FL Studio 9, and the vocal samples were my own voice, layered for a choir, and then I sort of wailed in the end. :)
Thanks again.

I laughed at this

That's a pretty pissed off Alvin. xD

Really nice

That. Was. Awesome!
Everything was in its fair place, loved both the groovy sound and the solo near the end. I think vocals should now be more Thrash-like, not Metalcore screaming nor pig squeals, 'cos they would ruin this piece.
For instance, a voice like '88-'93 James Hetfield's or Phil Anselmo's could be awesome there. Anyways, good job mate, the Realm of Metal welcomes you. \,,/

Awesome

I fell in love with your samples... I can't wait to see your NN-XT pack, as I'm a Reason user. ^^
Great f'n kudos man, I can do Funeral Doom now! You'll be forever remembered and that's a promise XD

Best regards,
KKS

sorohanro responds:

Sorry for late reply, been busy.
The NN-XT should wait a bit, I'm having troubles importing 24 bit wav files to Reason... for some reason.
I'll convert them to aif and try again, but I can't promise it will be fast.

Great

I commented on your previous PMs. ^^
Nice job again
